Text message program terms.

The program

By checking the consent box on our website and providing your mobile number, you agree to receive text messages from American Public Voice PAC about its work, surveys, events and ways to participate. Message frequency varies.

Consent is separate and optional

Consent is not a condition of donating, completing the survey or receiving information from us. Providing a phone number, donating, signing a petition, completing a survey or emailing us does not by itself enroll you in text messages; only the express consent checkbox does.

Costs

Message and data rates may apply. Contact your wireless carrier for details about your plan. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Opting out

Reply STOP to any message to cancel. You may also reply UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END or QUIT. After you opt out you will receive one confirmation message and no further messages unless you opt in again. To opt out by email, write to info@americanpublicvoice.org.

Privacy

How we handle your number and consent record is described in our Privacy Policy. We do not sell mobile numbers or share them with third parties for their own marketing.
